Queens Park Rangers FC History :( 1941-1960)

Queen Park Rangers were top in the League in 1945-46 season and they also qualify for the 5th round of the Cup, the only time it was played on a two-leg basis. In 1947-48, QPR lost a match against Derby after a replay in 1947-48 season. They also won a promotion to the Second Division for the first time on 26th of April 1948.
After spending four consistent years in Second Division, QPR relegated to Division three in 1952. Dave Mangnall left the club and his place was taken by Jack Taylor. In 1953, under the first floodlights, with an expense of £5,000 on lights at Loftus Road, QPR played a match with Arsenal on 5th of October.

In 1959, Alec Stock was appointed as a manager who signed Bedford from Bournemouth with an agreement to score 180 goals for QPR at the end of 1964-65 season. QPR played at White City again for half a season in 1962 but again poor attendances forced back to Loftus Road.
The 2010–11 season was Queens Park Rangers 122nd professional season and their 7th consecutive season in the Championship.
