Queens Park Rangers FC History :( 1889-1899)

In 1888-89, pitch was ruined and during 1890 and 1892, they changed four different grounds as Kensal Rise Green, Home Park, Kilburn Cricket ground and The Gun Club at Wormwood Scrubs.


In 1892 QPR changed their colours to green and white hoops and joined the West London League. They got their first victory in The West London Observer Cup by winning against Fulham

In 1894/95 after winning the London Cup QPR qualify for the FA Cup for the first time and In 1896 QPR moved to Kensal Rise Athletic ground

In December 28, 1898, QPR became professional and they applied for permission to join the Southern League. They played their first professional League match on 9th September at Tottenham and lost 1-0, and won on 16th September 1899 against New Brompton. The first goal scored by Tumbul. QPR finished eighth in the League and reached the second round of the FA Cup
The 2010–11 season was Queens Park Rangers 122nd professional season and their 7th consecutive season in the Championship. The club finished the season in 1st place, winning promotion to the Premier League after a 15 year absence.
